Nurse Care Alliance will provide you with the right personal assistant to help.  Our services include assistance with dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, changing linens, caring for houseplants, taking out trash, and general cleaning as part of a home care visit, Grocery shopping, meal preparation, monitoring diet and food intake, preparing future meals and clean-up.   Our Home Care Aids will assist with errands such as picking up your prescriptions, gather your mail and going for general light shopping.

Medication Reminders

Taking the right medications, on time and in the correct dose, is a vital part of yours and your loved one’s overall healthcare management. Nurse Care Alliance offers medication reminder service to assist you.

By CA State Law, our Home Care Aids will not be able to administer medications to the clients, however they will act as an “Alarm Clock” to ensure that the medications are taken safely and on time. Careful compliance with mediations can make the difference between staying independent or not.

Post-Hospitalization Care

Nurse Care Alliance provides care and support to individuals recovering from surgery. Our Home Care Aids can provide a range of personalized services to assist during the critical first few weeks after the surgery, when rest is most important. Our dedicated and staff will work with the client and family members, offering personal care, homemaking and companion services.

Our services enable recovering individuals to rest during the initial post-operative period and limit activities that might slow the recovery process. Overnight Care

For some of our clients, the need for care does not end at the end of the day. Clients that are unstable on their feet are at a higher risk of falling during the night when they get up to go to the bathroom or to get a glass of water. Our Home Care Aids can be there for the client to ensure their safety during the night.

Our overnight services include assistance to go to bed, including toileting, personal hygiene and skin care. Home Care Aids are awake all night and are available to assist with after bedtime transfers, toileting and redirection of confused, agitated or wandering behaviors.

Nurse Care Alliance overnight service shifts are typically between 8 to 12 hours long. The shift will usually start between 7pm to 10pm and will end between 6am to 9am. 24/7 and Live-In Care.

Nurse Care Alliance Live-In care services are suitable for clients who are looking for a way to maintain a sense of independence and ability to live in their home without sacrificing the safety, health and standard of living which they are accustom to.

Our live-in Home Care Aids will assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting; will perform household tasks during the day and general supervision during the night.

Live-in Home Care Aids working hours are mainly during day time. The Home Care Aids must have a place with privacy to sleep and can get sufficient rest at night. Clients will need to provide full room and board for the live-in Home Care Aids.

A typical 24-hour period will include 10 hours of intermittent work, 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep and at least 3 hours of free time (on-site). Nurse Care Alliance 24/7 care services are suitable for clients who are in the need for “Around the Clock” care. Nurse Care Alliance offers complete coverage 24 hours a day 7 day a week, ensuring that the client will never be left alone. We will assign a team of Home Care Aids to work with your loved ones. This team approach will allow us to substitute a Home Care Aid in case of illness or emergency with a home care aid from the same team allowing us to maintain continuity of care.

    • Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

Our Home Care Aids are specifically trained to work with and understand the special needs of clients that are affected by Alzheimer’s and Dementia. We recognize the feeling of well-being our clients associate with being at home in a familiar environment with family, pets and beloved belongings as well as the importance of their independence and pride.

Our professional and trained Home Care Aids are available to assist you or your loved one during the hospital stay for if necessary.
